"Where did you learn how to become successful Real Estate Investor?"

If we had a NICKEL for every time we got asked this question, we would double our current net worth!

The secret to every successful person is twofold, EDUCATION and WHO you know.

Real Estate Investor Education

   Many people get educated, however not really the right education, at least not the education to set them free financially.. Remember back when you were in High School or before, your parents said "Get good grades so you can get in to a GOOD COLLEGE," Then they said "So you can get a GOOD JOB". Do you know what JOB stands for? Just Over Broke!

   So how did that work out for you? If you are like me or any one of our team of professionals, probably not very well, well at least not in its entirety. I mean we did learn how to take notes, use computers, learn math, and basic English communication skills to prepare us for a JOB, to work for "DA MAN"

   We had to take those basic skills and learn further, what financials are, how to raise capital, how to lower our tax liability, and how to use an S-Corp, LLC or other entity to protect us personally against frivolous law suits. Did you know you are 3 times more likely to be sued in the U.S. than be in the hospital? (sorry side track) The point is the standard education system is not set up to teach people how to build wealth or even preserve it. The current education system was designed after World War I, many say World War II, but the point is it was designed around industry, not technology or property ownership. Once you see and understand that, you have taken your first step in to a new realm of possibilities.

   There is apprenticeship, which is a kin to a trade from many years back, say the 1800's. However many people became very skilled craftsmen by learning one on one with a master. This is a bit of a lost art and has been sort of resurrected in trade schools.    What about books, this is a great way of learning, right? Face it, in today's society we are finding out that our own history books lied to our own American people.    Audio CD's and DVD's, every guru has a set to sell you from $79.00 to $3,000. Their system is great, or at least it was while they were developing it, building it, printing it, recording it, taping it, then marketing it....or did it die along the process? The problems with these systems by the late night TV Guru's is that they aren't flexible to today's ever changing market place.    What about class room type instructor interaction?
